Your First Visit
Nothing to buy in advance and nothing to bring but water. Here is
the whole of it.
Before you come
- Book your place
- Classes cap at ten mats and the popular evening slots fill a day or two
ahead. Booking online is the only way to hold a place.
- Eat lightly
- Leave two hours after a full meal, especially before aerial — inversions
and a heavy lunch do not mix.
- Tell us what is going on
- Pregnancy, recent surgery, high or low blood pressure, glaucoma, neck or
shoulder injury: mention it when you book, and again to the teacher. Most of
it we can work around once we know.
What to wear
- Leggings or fitted shorts that cover the back of the knees for aerial —
the silk grips bare skin and the hammock can pinch.
- A top long enough to stay put when you are upside down.
- No zips, buckles, watches, rings or dangling jewellery near the silks.
- Bare feet. Socks stay in your bag except at barre, where grip socks work.
On the day
- Arrive 15 minutes early. The door is locked once class starts.
- Shoes off at the entrance; shelves for bags are inside the studio.
- Tell the teacher it is your first class and where you feel it in your body.
- Mats, blocks, straps, bolsters and hammocks are all here — take what you need.
You will not be the least flexible person in the room. Nobody is watching
you; everybody is upside down in a hammock trying to find their own feet.
Trial class RM 35, any class on the timetable including
aerial, one per person. See pricing
for packages after that.
